Political Bosses Who Steal Elections Go To Prison

c. 1895, Hand-Colored Political Cartoon, Titled "Next!" Referring to Sending Corrupt Senators and Political Bosses to Prison, Choice Extremely Fine.
This great Political Cartoon was drawn by artist Louis Dalrymple, and was probably published in the famous New York Democratic political magazine, "Puck." This large cartoon (print size approximately 10.5" x 9.5," with matte 12.5" x 11") shows a prisoner named McKane, sitting on a prison bench labeled: "Reserved For Bosses Who Steal Elections." Behind him, the hands of Justice are throwing a U.S. Senator into the prison. This print is in excellent condition, having a light horizontal fold near the center, and no holes or tears. This wonderful example of American Political Cartoons is ready to be framed and displayed.
