February 19, 1908, Republican Party Silk Ribbon, Very Fine.
9.25" x 3". Multicolored printing on cream-colored silk. A call to "Stand by the Republican Party" and support the candidates in this local race. Headlining the list, as hopeful for the City Solicitor's office, is J. Howard Gendell, who may be the gentleman whose image appears at upper center. Frayed at lower right corner and upper right edge. Local ribbons are much scarcer than their national counterparts, as their market was more limited and fewer were put back for the future.
