Western America
San Francisco Printing of
"The Black Hills As Sung by DICK BROWN"

c. 1870 Musical Broadside "The Black Hills As Sung by DICK BROWN," Very Fine.
8" x 5," scattered light toning. Published and sold by Bell & Co. of San Francisco. Here are a couple of the more interesting refrains:

"Kind folks you will pity my horrible tale;
I'm an object that's needy, and looking quite stale;
I gave up my trade, selling Wright's Patent Pills;
To go digging for gold in the dreary Black Hills.
So don't go away, stay at home if you can,
Far away from that city, they call it Cheyenne,
For old Sitting Bull, and Comanche Bill
Will raise up your hair in the dreary Black Hills."

Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
