San Francisco Lyrics "Milburn's Motto!... As Sung by J.H. Milburn" c. 1870, San Francisco Lyric Sheet for "MILBURN'S MOTTO! OR, While I Live I'll Crow," Published by San Francisco News Company, B.F. Sterett, Printer, San Francisco, CA, Very Fine. The lyric sheet, 11.25" x 4.5", is printed by "B.F. Sterett, Printer, 522 Clay Street," and "Published and sold Wholesale and Retail by San Francisco News Company, No. 912 Kearny Street, San Francisco." The lyrics, "AS SUNG BY J.H. MILBURN", are printed in black down the center of the page with a decorative border surrounding. The chorus, though only printed once in its entirety, is repeated four times as follows: "As gaily on I go, Be fortune high or low, This shall be my motto, boys, 'That while I live I'll crow.'" Folded in half once, leaving lyrics scarcely affected by the crease. Evenly toned, edges occasionally split and dampstained, chip missing from right side of page; else very fine. Print is still dark and bold. Early American will accept payment by check or credit card. ImagesClick on thumbnails to see larger images:
