
Kodak 3A 1915 Camera &Rangefinder
Description
(18 x 6 x 4in) A very rare, very early Kodak camera, with "Pat Dec 28, 1915" on the front nameplate. The camera has an Afga Compur f4.5 - f32 lens, serial number 3002507. The top and bottom of the camera have been modified and fitted with wooden platforms, onto which has been mounted a brass support for pole mounting. The camera features a black leather case and black bellows and a range finder as typically seen on the US Army Signal Corps model made between 1915 and 1917 (rangefinder may be missing the sliding scale - please examine photographs carefully to see exactly what items are on the rangefinder). "A.M.E." is embossed in gold letters on the side of the black leather case. Rear film plate holder missing but they are available. Good condition. Rare.
