Good original antique cane display case, somewhat altered with the hinges removed from the curved glass top which is now fixed, not hinged for opening. Further, the center shelf is replaced with a solid wood piece rather than the pierced grill that would accomodate standing canes. Both chnages are easily reversed to return this to an original cane showcase.
