Great miniature sample of the Vergeat of Milan, the hat that, according to its interior label, won the 1881 Silver Medal at Turin, 1897 Central America GREAT PRIZE, 1906 Milan GOLD MEDAL, 1911 Turin GREAT PRIZE in the export section, 3 Diplomas in the Italian section, 1913 GOLD MEDAL OF THE 1ST degree from the Department of Agriculture, Industry and Commerce and from the Navy Department. Measures 2 x 5 x 5 .75 inches.

Very good noting some minor separation , a 1 inch open area at the top edge just above and behind the bow. Very lightly soiled.
