Here is an absolutely fabulous crystal clear rhinestone brooch marked Christian Dior Germany 1971. This highly collectible piece is set with various sizes and shapes of bright shiny rhinestones in gorgeous rhodium plated metal. The prong-set rhinestones in this crescent shaped brooch are different levels giving the piece a beautiful three-dimensional look. The pin is in excellent vintage condition, but is missing one stone. Measeures 2". The pin is nice and tight and secure. Also a older rhinestone rhodium plated butterfly, missing one stone on wing. There is a mark on pin closure but it is illegible. Measures 2.5" Both pieces can be restored with very little effort and are still sparkling, high end designer pins.Judith Miller Costume Jewelry 2003 pg. 60 ... includes certificate that this lot came from the Estate of Louise Mondani Graham, owner of the Brass Bugle Antique Barn in Cornwall Bridge CT.
