With painted steel dial with calendar below and second dial above center; painted four seasons in stiles and scene of mounted knight being attached by lion in arch top. Unsigned English bell strike movement. Case with broken arch pediment with carved rosette terminals; brass eagle on tall finial; door flanked by spiral turned columns; waist with triple arch door with applied molding and inlaid diamond with molding surround below flanked by matching spiral turned columns on elongated plinths scroll cut French feet. Some shrinkage cracks in base and back boards are old replacements. 98" h x 25 1/2" w x 10" d. EST. $1000. - $1500.
