Elegant Imperial Russian silver-gilt and champleve enamel large open salt. Gorgeously decorated with varicolored of geometric and floral motifs in pan-slavic and mughal ornament. Russian champleve inscription around the middle section. Marked on the back "AK" for Antip Kuzmichev, dated 1877, 84 silver standard and hallmark for Moscow. An absolutely unusual shape. Excellent quality. A few minor losses of enamel. SIZE: 3.2/3" or 9.2cm.diameter on the base, 2" or 5cm high, weighted 96gr. or 3.4oz.
