Elegant Russian silver-gilt and cloisonne enamel sward-shashka in Caucasian taste. Baku, Azerbaijan 1908-1926. Most likely used as a wedding costume decorations. Decorated with foliage and geometric motifs in navy blue, white, green, red, brown and light green. Marked 84 silver standard for Baku and Caucasian assayer mark (Postnikova-Loseva pl# 3894,page 259), that dates to 1908-1926. Size:6.1/2" (16.5cm.) long. Unusual, rare object.
