Silver-gilt & Enamel Spoon by Famous G.A.Scheild.

Attractive silver-gilt and cloisonne enamel spoon made by famous G.A.Scheild. Vienna, circa 1890-1910. Gorgeous decoration with stylized flowers and foliate scrolls in navy blue, yellow, pink and white. Twisted gilded and enameled handle with very realistically made bull at the top. Fully marked with maker name G.A.S for Georg Adam Scheid: active Vienna from 1862, silversmith and jeweler famous for high-quality enameling, executed designs by Koloman Moser, also marked with silver hallmarked for small articles, equivalent 800 silver and dates for 1886-1922. Size: 5.1/2" or 14cm.weighted 30gr. Excellent condition. Rare example, high quality workmanship.
