Rare Russian-Estonian silver tankard, circa 1920-30. Marked for "AK" for Russian silversmith Krivovichev Alexander Gerasimovich ( Postnikova - Loseva pl # 2196, silver mug by the same maker in the collection of state historical museum in Moscow,page 208 ), hallmark for Estonia and quality silver mark 875. Pan-slavic design with hinged cover of the barrel-form tankard and huge handle , presentation inscription related to 50 years of work anniversary. Similar shape tankard by Grachev see Sotheby's New York April of 16,lot # 276, page 277. Size:6.1/2"(16.5cm) tall, 7.1/2"(19cm.) Long, weighted 13.1oz.(372 gr.) Excellent condition.
