Elegant Imperial Russian silver tankard. barrel-form , gilded interior, floral and erotic engravings in the middle and upper section of the tankard with a presentation inscription dated to 1904. Marked in five different places "IPP" in Cyrillic for I.P. Prokofiev owner of a silver shop at Danilovskaya Sloboda in Moscow (Postnikova-Loseva pl# 2513, three silver item by the same maker in the collection of State Historical Museum, Moscow, page 216),84 silver standard. Size:6.7/8"(17.5cm.) Tall, 6"(15.2cm) long, weighted 12.4oz.(352gr.) Excellent condition.
