Prince Sergei Romanovsky (Russian,1890-1974), Rocky Mountain Landscape, Oil/Artist Board, Signed, Dated Dec. 17, 1925, New York. , 5.5 x 7 in. A Rocky Mountain Landscape Inscribed on verso. The verso inscribed in French with dedicatory inscription addressed to Madame E. Fabbri (the wife of artist Egisto Pablo Fabri 1866-1933) with heartfelt sentiments of a fond day spent admiring such a beautiful landscape. The inscription would seem to indicate that Prince Sergei Romanovsky is the author of the painting, although it is unclear as to whether he painted, whereas it is indeed clear that Egisto Fabbri was a painter. Prince Romanovsky's relationship to the Romanov family is through his grandmother Grand Duchess Maria Nikolaievna Romanov (1819-1876).
