1823 Print: "WASHINGTON," by W. Head, London, England, Very Fine.
2" x 1.75" uncolored engraving of Washington, on 6.5" x 4" sheet of paper. Featuring Washington in dark jacket and ruffled shirt, with his left hand tucked under his jacket lapel. Toned page, especially along the edges. Fine print along lower edge indicates that the print was published in London by "Sir R. Phillips & Co." A nice print from the early 19th century, with an uncharacteristic pose.
