Civil War Draft Request and Receipt for Bounty Monies September 2, 1864, Civil War Draft Request and Receipt for Bounty Monies, Very Fine. 9.75" x 7.5," a handwritten request by the Provost Marshall of Lockport, NY on official letterhead for $2,800 in Bounty Money for seven men who had signed up for service in the Union Army. The receipt of the $2,800 is acknowledged at the bottom. A hand-cancelled, blue, 2 Cents U.S. Internal Revenue Express Stamp is affixed at the bottom.
