September 5, 1792, THE NEW-YORK JOURNAL, & PATRIOTIC REGISTER, New York, (NY), Choice Extremely Fine.
Vol. XLVI, No. 71, 18.25" x 11.5", 4-column layout, 4 pages. "Published by Thomas Greenleaf." Disbound. Toned light brown pages. A front page ad offers a "Sixty Dollar Reward" for a runaway "Negro Man." Page 2 has an article which states, "The citizens of South Caroline, met at Charleston, August 11, have resolved, that no negro, mulatto, or mestizo shall be imported into that state, or sold there from other states, thenceforward." Page 4 contains a listing of a Public Auction.
