1840 Broadsheet Print, "NATIONAL GALAXY. Or, Portraits and Biographies of all the Presidents of the United States", Very Fine. Some very light toning, two areas of paper loss at bottom corners (in border only), and a couple of small stain marks toward the bottom. A rare 1840 print of the eight Presidents from Washington to Van Buren, with high-quality, steel-plate engravings of each above their respective biographies. 1840 was the election year in which Van Buren lost his reelection bid to William Henry Harrison. A most impressive piece that cries out to be matted, framed, and displayed.
