Six "Limited" Francis S. King Engravings

c. 1900, Six Engravings by Francis S. King, Gem Mint.
These 13.5" x 18.25" engravings were published by the Society of Iconophiles of New York. Consisting of one limited edition of each print, 132 were issued, this is a complete set of the prints. The images depict the portraits of Hugh Gaine, Isaiah Thomas, Paul Revere, Alexander Anderson, James Rivington, and Amos Doolittle. Each individual played a pivotal role in Colonial America ranging from printer to historian. Some have light foxing which is limited strictly to the large border areas. (6 items)
