World War I Poster Seeking Aid for Ruhr & Rhein Victims

c. 1916, German Poster, "Nein Gebt Zum Deutschen Volksopfer," by Franz Stock, Choice Extremely Fine.
This bold, almost raw poster seeks contributions in Bavaria for the relief of victims in the Ruhr and Rhein areas of Germany. Bearing the printed signature of the artist, Franz Stock, this 28" x 20" poster was printed by W. Buxenstein. Generally in excellent condition, this poster has an archivally repaired 4" horizontal tear in the top margin, a .5" tear in the bottom margin and minor creases in the left margin. A typically grim World War I German Poster.
