1868, Printed Promotional Advertisement, for the Book entitled: "A Personal History of Ulysses S. Grant," by Albert Deane Richardson, Choice Very Fine.
This is an 1868 advertisement, printed in a magazine of the era, measuring 9" x 11.25", for the illustrious book, "A Personal History of Ulysses S. Grant," by Albert Deane Richardson, who was a well-known American journalist, Civil War Union spy, and author. It is printed in black on both sides, and includes several excellent historic engravings from the book. Some slight wear, one fold, and a few small tears on one one edge, yet still bright, and would look great framed with proper matting for display.
