1876 Lot of Five American Centennial Exposition Guides

1876 Centennial Guide Books for the Centennial Grounds and Fairmount Park, average Fine.
This is a group lot of five Centennial Guide Books published in 1876. This lot includes: "Visitors Guide to the Centennial Exhibition and Philadelphia 1876," 48 pages, 7" x 4.5," with red card cover, nice engravings and an 18" x 24" color fold-out map (published by J. B. Lippincott & Co.); together with "Hand Book to the Centennial Grounds and Fairmount Park," 32 pages, 7.5" x 5," paper covers, with great engravings (published by John E. Potter & Co.); also "United States Centennial Commission. International Exhibition 1876 - Official Catalogue - Department of Art," 4th edition, 70 pages, 8" x 5", gray card covers (detached but present), with great period advertising (published by John R. Nagle & Co.; together with "Guide to the Centennial Exposition" which was published by "G. Byron Morse - Dining & Ice Cream Parlors for Ladies and Gentlemen," 32 pages, 9.5" x 6.5," paper covers, with lovely engravings, including two showing the Morse's Ice Cream Parlor; and front page of the November 3, 1873 issue of The Press (Philadelphia) showing architectural plans for the Exposition to be held in 1876. All have typical wear & stains from use, and remain in generally good overall condition. (5 items).
