Affordable Paul Revere Engraved "Sword in Hand" Note

Colony of Massachusetts Bay. August 18, 1775. Two Shillings Six Pence. Paul Revere Engraved "Sword in Hand" Issue. Due Date of August 18, 1780. Very Good.
This is a very clean and evenly presented note that has some overall heavy conservation and restoration. The text has more than half being readable, with the date and most of the basic devices clear. The paper appears whole and solid due to the conservation. Partial reverse legends and the colonial Massachusetts Minuteman with his "Sword in Hand" is also displayed with the aid of conservation. An example in Fine or better quality can easily cost several thousand dollars. Thus, this note is a inexpensive specimen while one waits for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow to arrive.
