Choice Extremely Fine. This ornate lottery ticket was printed in the form of a membership certificate in the Washington Library Company of Philadelphia, PA, was issued in aid of the Riverside Orphan Institute. The Washington Library Company was first organized in 1813 and opened its doors in 1816. This $1 ticket, measuring 2.5" x 4.5" and has the printed signature of "N. S. Read" and red serial number. This ticket is unused and has 1 light fold, being well printed and having four full to huge margins. Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
