Hartford, CT, The Phoenix Bank, $3, Fine. Haxby CT-195 S15. A scarce and interesting spurious note. Seated female at the upper right. The five digit serial number on this note is interesting. Hardly deceptive to us now, but in the 1840's another piece of treachery used to steal from the common man. Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
