Late 18th/early 19th century, each with a slightly curved crestrail above a pierced back with a vasiform splat centering a patera over a loose cushion seat covered in gold velvet above a rectangular seatrail over turned tapering fluted legs, 10 pcs, 35'' H x 15'' W x 15.5'' D, est:$1000/2000. Provenance: Property from a Hancock Park Estate

Height of seat: 19''. Width of seat: 16'', depth of seat: 14''. Nicely made - with pegged construction. Structurally sound. With a honey color to timber overall. General marks, nicks, scratches and scattered minor chipped losses to carved elements. Generally even fading to surfaces. Would benefit from waxing. With generally well executed restorations throughout set - principally to seatrails and crestrails - some with subsequent overpainted restorations. Wear to feet. Visible old woodworm. Upholstery faded and worn but useable. This and all lots are sold AS IS.
