Late 17th / early 18th century, the rectangular top above a fluted and patera-carved frieze, with a pair of frieze drawers, over a pair of paneled doors enclosing a shelf, flanked by guilloche-carved uprights over a gadrooned base, on paw feet, 47'' H x 50.5'' W x 19.75'' D, est:$4000/6000. Condition
Structurally sound. Decoration nicely executed. General marks, nicks, scratches and wear commensurate with age and use. With a nutty brown color to timber overall. With restorations and embellishments. Carved panels to frieze and drawers likely embellished and or with replacements. With some uneven fading, cracking and patched repairs to top. Panel to right door with replaced fillet to right side. Some typical cracking to backboards. Some scattered replacements to molding. Visible old woodworm and woodworm channels. One key. This and all lots are sold AS IS.
