Anti-Slavery Speech by Henry Wilson the Future Vice-President of the United States under Grant 1860, Anti-Slavery Speech, by Henry Wilson, Very Fine. This is an original copy of the booklet entitled: "Tribune Tracts No. 2, Democratic Leaders for Disunion, Speech of Hon. Henry Wilson of Massachusetts, Delivered in the Senate of the United States Jan. 25, 1860". This booklet is printed from New York Tribune, 16 pages, 9" x 5.75", some light foxing, outer some trivial splitting along the spine, but otherwise completely intact. Prepared for the Political Campaign of 1860. The back page has advertising for the other Tribune publications and directs inquires to "Horace Greeley & Co., Nassau Street, New York". This is a historic Anti-slavery speech, by a New England congressman speaking against the Democratic Party leaders in the South. It specifically relates to a resolution advanced by Congressman Brown, intended to allow Slavery in the Territories of the United States. A nice condition example and Extremely Rare.
