c. 1860, Half Plate Hand-Painted Tintype of a Young Man in a Nice Suit, Very Fine. Approx. 9" x 6.75" painted half plate tintype has a subject of a young man in a nice suit with a hat. He is staring off into the distance with his head turned in a three-quarter glance, indicative of c. 1860s portraiture. Aside from the discoloration found in the lower third of the portrait, this is a Very Fine tintype. Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
