Historic Americana
"Indian Head" Curved Folk Art Wooden Pipe Holder

c. 1900-1910, Indian Head Folk Art Wooden Pipe Holder, Hand-Carved and Painted, Choice Very Fine.
This outstanding, 6.5" high x 3" wide, turn of the century original, Indian Head "Folk Art," Hand-carved, wooden pipe holder has glass eyes, and is mounted onto a wood display base. It has great old carving with traces of its original polychrome paint, having a small chip on nose and on top of the Eagle Feather carved headdress, otherwise this piece of American Folk Art is in wonderful, original, lightly worn condition. Rare, the first we have offered and not quite as costly as buying a Cigar Store Indian of the same vintage.

Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
