Set of Five Early Period Stockton, California Billiard Saloon Cards

c. 1870, Set of 5 Billiard Advertising Cards from the HAHN & FOWLER Commercial Billiard Saloon in Stockton, CA, Copyright by P.H. Kennedy, Choice Extremely Fine.
Each card measures 4" x 2.5", and has various color engravings of a husband and wife. These titles include: "Husband Comes Home at Night, Gets a kiss. That's All Right", "Sudden Start And a Stare on his Coat Sees A Hair", "Color Red- Her's is Black-Sobs and Tears, Fury, Whack", "Playful Wife on his Knee, Sits and Talk, Waiting Tea", and "Husband Goes Out At Night- Won't Come Home Till He Is Tight". This set of 5 cards are extremely rare to be found together in a set like this. The color remains vibrant with the aging visible mainly on the back of the cards.
