Desirable 1866 Washington, D.C. Lottery Ticket August 2, 1866, Grover's Theatere, Washington, D.C., Ticket for Benefit of the Soldiers' Orphan Fund, Choice Crisp Uncirculated. The first example of this Post-Civil War ticket we have seen or handled. The text is tinted with a green "1866". This is a great theme and the ticket cost $1.00. The back with circular back ink stamped "SOLDIERS & SAILORS UNION." Very desirable and high grade. Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
