Yeats (Elizabeth Corbet, printer, 1868-1940) Autograph Letter signed to Cecil Harmsworth, 6pp., 8vo, Dun Emer Press, Dundrum, Co. Dublin, 20th June 1904, thanking him for his cheque, "I am very glad you are pleased with the printing. I don't know if Mr. Hamilton told you that with the help of two young girls I do the whole printing - we work the press, set up & do all ourselves & of course I had to teach these two girls & learn myself - as when I started I had not even seen a hand press worked. We commenced work here in November 1902 - at least Mrs Gleeson [Evelyn Gleeson (Gaelic leaguer and suffragist, 1855-1944)] took this house & we began to look about for girls - but we did not actually begin work till December", asking Harmsworth if he would like to buy some tapestries and sending books, "I will send you 'The Love Songs of Connacht'", mentioning AE Russell etc. ..., folds, slightly browned; and a signed receipt from Elizabeth Yeats.(2)ImagesClick on thumbnails to see larger images:
