World War I.- Maffett (H.T., Captain, 2nd Battalion The Leinster Regiment, killed in the first Battle of Ypres, brother of Emilie Maffett, wife of Cecil Harmsworth, d. 1914) Correspondence from H.T. Letters from Maffett joining the war and much correspondence from Emilie Harmsworth relating to enquiries about his death, how he died and where he is buried, including some from Major Reinhardt who buried the body..
