They realise that it will be quite impossible to replace him in any way, but they are determined, with the help of his friends to carry forward the which he had so much at heart and and to establish the Pottery upon a firm basis that it may be a continuing memorial to the spirit of self sacrificing help in which it was conceived and with which he has nurtured it through its difficult early years"; and a typescript statement about the Ashtead Pottery, folds, browned(4)
