Ashtead Potters Ltd.- Cripps (Sir Richard Stafford, politician and lawyer, chancellor of the Exchequer, 1889-1952) Autograph Letter signed and 2 Typed Letters signed to Cecil Harmsworth,
6pp., 8vo & sm. 4to, 30th January 1930 - 8th June 1932, "The Committee of Ashtead Potters have given very careful thought to carrying on the work which Lawrence Weaver initiated many years ago and at which he has so unceasingly laboured up to the time of his death. They realise that it will be quite impossible to replace him in any way, but they are determined, with the help of his friends to carry forward the which he had so much at heart and and to establish the Pottery upon a firm basis that it may be a continuing memorial to the spirit of self sacrificing help in which it was conceived and with which he has nurtured it through its difficult early years"; and a typescript statement about the Ashtead Pottery, folds, browned(4)
