St.John December 24th 1899" on front free endpaper, contemporary crimson morocco, by Bumpus of Oxford, upper cover ruled and stamped in gilt and blind with panel of fleur-de-lys and dots, spine gilt, t.e.g., others uncut, upper cover darkened, lower a little stained, joints and corners rubbed, 8vo, printed by Charles Whittingham & Co. of the Chiswick Press, 1898.
