2 vol., first edition, double column, additional engraved pictorial titles (that in the first volume folded and loosely inserted, probably from another copy), titles in red and black, woodcut initials, vol.1 very small burnhole to foot of C5, affecting a couple of letters, small section of upper corner of K4 torn away, affecting sidenote, 3F4 misbound after 3F5, vol.2 O4 with large repaired tears, loss of a few letters on recto and verso, but no loss of sense, short tear to foot of 2B2, browned, water-staining to last few ff. of index, not uniform contemporary mottled calf, spines in compartments, red morocco labels, other compartments with gilt floral motifs, minor worming to spine of vol.1, affecting 3 letters of morocco label, rubbed, vol.2 slightly scuffed, [Borba de Moraes (1983) II, 852], folio, Lisbon, Paulo Craesbeeck, 1645-1647.
