Waley (Arthur, translator) The Lady Who Loved Insects, number 35 of only 50 copies on hand-made paper signed by the translator from an overall limitation of 550, 4 dry-point etchings by Hermine David, small envelope of ms. pages loosely inserted, original green silk over boards, gilt titles, t.e.g., others uncut, an excellent copy, slip-case, rubbed and marked, 8vo, Blackamore Press, 1929.***This work finishes by claiming the story is to be continued in a second chapter, but Waley notes that no such chapter exists. However, the manuscript pages enclosed, in an unknown hand, claim to be The Lady Who Loved Insects, Chapter II. An interesting copy of an attractive production..
