Various bindings, worn, one cover detached and one nearly so, some foxing/toning/stains. ++ Godey's Lady's Book, And Ladies' American Magazine. 3 Vols: 1840, 1873, 1875. 1840 volume has hinges repaired, tape to front joint, with 10 color fashion plates. 1873 spine misdated 1870, has 9 color folding fashion plates (2 separated with losses). Light dampstain to lower corner of pages in 1875 (mostly in margins) affecting plates, has 12 color folding fashion plates and many b&w foldouts. ++ Graham's Monthly American Magazine: Of Literature and Art. Embellished with Mezzotint and Steel Engravings, Music, etc...4 Vols: Jan.-Aug. and Oct.-Dec. 1843; 1846; 1849; and 1852 (Jan.-June). Phila: George R. Graham. 1843 volume has 5 color fashion plates, 2 color floral plates, several b&w fashion plates. 1846 volume lacks rfep, has several fashion plates (2 color in 1849). Short stories and articles on women's clothing styles, fabrics, sewing, and contemporary life. Total of 38 color fashion plates (19 folding), numerous b&w plates.
