Viennese hand painted enameled silver box inset with D.F. Dubois clock, A Paris key wind movement No. 8354 2/79; with domed, end hinged lens covering an enameled dial and face with Roman chapters and filigree hands, the watch is attached at the lid to a hand painted enameled oval box, measuring 2'' in length, 1 11/16'' wide and 7/8'' deep, with hand painted figural scenes on the base and inside. Minor loss of enamel in two spots at one end. Hallmarks on box indicate Viennese 750 standard silver with ''A'' date letter for 1866. Watch movement appears to be from 1775 - 1780 period.
