An important early treatise on Picasso and Cubism with Exter's striking cover design. One of 1000 copies. Ivan Aksenov (1883-1935) was associated with the Constructivists and worked in the theatre of Vsevolod Meierkhold, also serving as the dean of its directors' school. Critic, poet, and translator, he was an outstanding representative of the genre crossing and internationalist spirit of Russian avant-garde art. MoMA 148.
