Condition: edges of portfolio rubbed and more soiling and discoloring throughout, ink stamps on some versos. rare complete set of vintage may day press photographs. A parade in celebration of May Day passing day and night past enormous photographs of Lenin and Stalin in the Red Square. There are shots of workers, children, dancers, muscians, soldiers and sailors. The multitudes cheer and wave their banners as tanks roll by and fighter planes fly overhead. These photographs resembling Aleksandr Rodchenko's heroic work demonstrate the military might of the great Soviet Union.
