Related 4pp. small format pamphlet tipped in at front of final part, first three parts with titles and text printed in black within red line borders. 4 additional titles, plates (some printed in a tone) and illustrations. Publisher's black half roan over grey grained cloth-covered boards, the upper cover titled in gilt Kartiny russkikh khudozhnikov [Pictures of Russian Artists], spine in five compartments with raised bands, titled in gilt in the second. Condition: boards slightly rubbed, corners bumped and frayed; some light spotting to final few leaves. an interesting publisher's sammelband, comprising: three illustrated monographs on the well-known artists Genrikh Ippolitovich Semiradskii (1843-1902); Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovskii (1817-1900); and Rufim Gavrilovich Sudkovskii (1850-1885); and finishing with the Albom dekabrskoi vystavki 1890 g. [Album of the December Exhibition in 1890]. These were all also available as separate works.
