Decorated green and black paper covered boards, with Constructivist design and lettering to endpapers. Condition: minor abrasions to boards, repairs to joints and corners; front endpapers toned. classic collection of chernikov's famous architectural fantasies. One of 5150 copies. Chernikhov was one of the most influential Constructivist architectural theorists. His series of "architectural fantasies" made him famous world wide and inspired many other architects. Even when conceiving factories or machinery, he was a brilliant draftsman who employed a deft interplay of pure black and white.
