Lithographed throughout: 16 pp. of manuscript facsimile text (8pp. in the hand of Amfian Reshetov; 8pp. in the hand of Neol Rudin), 8 plates (4 by N. Chernyshev, 4 by S. Gerasimov). Original thin card wrappers, the upper cover blocked in red with lino cut lettering designed by Chernyshev. Condition: some light marginal soiling; the wrappers detached, light vertical crease to upper wrapper, light soiling. Provenance: Osip Brik (presentation inscription signed by all four contributors). presentation copy inscribed and signed by the contributors in december 1920 to the influential leftist critic. Likely no more than 100 copies were published. "Amfian Reshetov" was the pseudonym of the poet Nikolai Nikolaevich Barutin. Brik was an influential Russian avant-garde writer, critic, co-founder of the journal LEF and the husband of Lilya Brik. This is an exceptional example of Futurist book design. MoMA 283. .
