[Kiev: Kultur-Liga, 1924]. 19 pp., small 8vo (165 x 122 mm). Illustrated by Epshtein. Original decorated wrappers designed by Epshtein. Condition: wrappers lightly thumsoiled and spotted, minor internal discoloration. rare yiddish children's book. Epshtein was a sculptor, stage designer, teacher and colleague of Marc Chagall, El Lisstizky and Natan Altman at the Kultur-Liga in Kiev. He studied in Alexandra Exter's studio and helped found the Contemporary Ukrainian Artists Union (OSMU) in 1927.
