Title in red and black. 7 full page illustrations. Original wrappers printed in red and black. Condition: wrapper extremities slightly frayed, previous owner's bookplate and pen marks on verso of front wrapper, additional pen marks to title page. As a follower of El Lisstzky, Illin became a well-known Soviet graphic artist in his own right and specialized in polygraphy and book design. After moving from Moscow to Nizhnii Novgorod, he became the chief artist of Nizhpoligraph publishing house. The cover design and illustrations exhibit elements of Suprematism. One of 2100 copies.
