ILIN, Nikolai (1894-1954) (illustrator). V boyakh za Sormovo [The Battle for Sormovo]. [Nizhnii Novgorod]: OGIZ, 1931. 52 pp., 8vo (178 x 125 mm). Title page and introduction leaf in red and black. Original two-color Constructivist wrappers designed by N. Ilin who also designed the interior. Edited by Boris Mikhailovich Volin, Boris Riurikov and Nikolai Biriukov. Condition: wrappers slightly soiled with minor creasing; backstrip rubbed with slight loss. A collection of proletarian poems concerning the Krasnoe Sormovo Factory No. 12 that produced steam locomotives as well as armored trains and carriages and naval weapons during the Russian Civil War.
