Condition: wrappers slightly faded with slight wear to extremities; previous owner's inscription on front endpaper. rare posthumous publication of the great russian futurist writer; edited by his fellow advocate of the 'transrational' kruchenykh. One of 2000 copies. Khlebnikov was a seminal figure in the Russian Futurist movement and one of the most influential Russian poets of the modern age. In 1912 he coined the neologism Budetlyane or Men of the Future, encapsulating the Futurist ethos in one word.
